Tired Eyes

The old saying, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," has been scientifically show to be true. We want beautiful eyes to express love, warmth, and care.

What Causes Tired Eyes ?

Tired eyes can come from any numerous of activities. Some of the most common include too little sleep, allergies, working on the smartphones and tablets for too long, poor lighting conditions, reading for long periods, or any other activity that may require the eyes to maintain intense focus for long periods of time. Another common reason is aging. As we get older, we tend to lose that shine in our eyes and they look dull and tired all the time.

SYMPTOMS

Signs that your lifestyle is beginning to take its toll on your eyes include:

  • Dark eye circles
A dark, almost bruise-like crescent underneath each eye.
  • Eye Puffiness
Swollen, fluidy skin underneath and above the eye area.
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
Creepy skin on the eyelids and under the eyes.
  • Crow’s feet
Wrinkles at the side of the eyes, stretching out towards the temples.
  • Droopy eyelids
Droopy skin which may pull the eyelid downwards, making the eyes look sleepy.
  • Redness
Inflamed skin around the eyes, or visible blood vessels known as thread veins or spider veins
  • Eye bags
Puffiness, specifically in the under-eye area.
  • Sunken eyes or tear trough
Thin or sagging skin around the eyes which makes the socket more visible.

TREATMENT

  • Skin peels strip back layers of dull, ageing skin and leave behind a smoother complexion, reducing wrinkles and lines around the eyes.
  • Radiofrequency treatment that uses controlled and uniform heating to smoothen out fine lines around eyes. It also reduces hooding effects and mild eye bags.
  • “Madonna Eye Lift” – with the use of a modern, innovative fractional CO2 laser – we can reduce the occurrence of fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area, raise eyebrows, including eyelids, remove dark circles under the eyes and strengthen, improve and rejuvenate the look of the eye.
  • NEUROMODULATOR such as BOTOX injections can be used to relax the facial muscles and help reduce wrinkles caused by repetitive facial movement. Anti-ageing injectable can be used to subtly smooth and soften the skin around the eyes, restoring a natural looking, youthful complexion.
  • Filler may be used to reduce under eyes wrinkles and treat the sunken eyes. It gives your eyes a more energetic and confident look.
